As of today, Aung has been detained for:-
11 Years 281 Days. FOR NOTHING!
Does she not strike you as being the very sort of person that we would die for? Too true, she is. But, just like Ghandi and Martin Luther King, she will never preach violence. Perhaps that is why she can be isolated and held forever. Huh! We can’t even lock-up terrorists in this country!
I publish this simply to try and keep this lady in our memories. I just ask you to spare a thought for her – today. Please.

Did you know that Aung has been detained 3 times?
She was under house arrest from 1990 and released in 1995.
Her second house arrest was from 2000-2002.
She had an operation in 2003 and has been under house arrest since then.
Her name is interesting to.
Aung san: means father
Kyi: means mother
Suu: means grandmother.
She was born on June 19th 1945.
A very brave and strong lady.
