“My Lords, does this not come close to the pot calling the kettle black? What could be more institutionally racist than insisting on having a black police association?” Lord Waddington.
I must admit that when this first came out I was shouting “Where’s the evidence?”
I do not always believe these accusations especially when the person concerned is no longer with us.
However, I must admit that having heard so many stories from so many people I have to admit that it is probably true, unfortunately.
It does seem that quite a few people did know what was going on.
It is very upsetting to hear this now, why didn’t someone say something before he died?
We should hear his point of view, but obviously can’t now.

Quite so, Annie. Truth of the matter is that these girls were mainly what were called ‘groupies’ and ‘groping’ was a part of their lifestyle AT THAT TIME, with celebs, as I,myself, saw on several occasions. Sad – but true, I’m afraid.
Isn’t it now called The Gay BBC ? Given the high amount of ‘cooking’ – More cooking, extra-cooking, and Home-making, fashions, wallpapering, interior-decorating, and dress-making programmes. Add that we see endless series shows, with especially placed women supervisors, women police-chiefs, women Police Superintendants, women top-detectives, and all this “Yes M’aam” bullshit. ALL THE TIME . Is the BBC out to feminize Britain ?
They will not be pleased with you. You are not supposed to have noticed this brainwashing of the masses!
“Yes Ma’am” makes more sense than “yes sir” when speaking to a female superior! On American TV, it’s literally absurd!! Until certain things can be performed in a standing position when is still a Ma’am!

I quite agree Dickiebo. I was thinking the same.
